From smartphones to 8K TVs, the technical specifications of resolution, refresh rate, aspect ratio, and color calibration are subtly, yet powerfully, reshaping our definition of what is beautiful.


Resolution as Aesthetic Authority

What once was a limitation—low-res pixelation—is now a nostalgic aesthetic. At the same time, ultra-high-definition (UHD) resolution has set a new standard for "clarity" that dictates value.
